Estamos preparando la visita de los alumnos del Gymnasium Skövde Västerhöjd con mucha ilusión. Este auca lo preparó alguien de los Togeder el curso pasado.
El texto es cosa de los Teachers y -para que lo comprendan los Together- está en Valenciano pero seguro que lo entenderéis o también podéis pedir ayuda a los alumnos del IES Campanar.

Fostering youth mobility in Europe /// ¿Cómo impulsar la movilidad en Europa?

Aurora, Madrid:
Hello, my name is Aurora, how can we encourage student mobility in Europe?
Androulla Vassiliou, European Commissioner for Education and Youth:
“Our goal is to give the opportunity to as many young people as possible to be mobile, that is to study, train or volunteer abroad. And the reason for doing that is because we believe that through mobility the young people can increase their personal development and of course, they increase their chances of finding work.
PARTICIPATING IN AN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME CAN MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE TO A YOUNG PERSON'S FUTURE.
For the time being we’re supporting about 500.000 young people to be mobile, either to study abroad or to train abroad, or even to volunteer in some foreign countries. And we spend about 1 billion euros a year for that but still, it’s not enough. For example, according to a recent Eurobarometer study 53% of the young people polled said that they would be willing and eager to work abroad, but unfortunately only 14% of them have opportunity to study or train abroad and that is because of lack of funds.
That is why I am now pressing for more funds for mobility projects and also in order to bring down the barriers the administrative and legal barriers that still exist and make it difficult for young people to become mobile.”

“Nuestro objetivo es darle esa oportunidad al máximo número de jóvenes, ya sea para estudiar, para hacer prácticas, o para participar en una actividad benéfica en el extranjero. Y lo hacemos porque creemos que através de la movilidad, los jóvenes pueden mejorar su desarrollo personal, y por supuesto mejorar sus posibilidades de conseguir empleo.
PARTICIPAR EN UN PROGRAMA DE INTERCAMBIO PUEDE SUPONER UNA GRAN DIFERENCIA EN EL FUTURO DE UN/A  JOVEN.
Actualmente contribuimos a la movilidad de unos 500 mil jóvenes, ya sea para estudiar en el extranjero, para hacer alguna formación o incluso para colaborar con alguna organización benéfica en el extranjero.
Invertimos cerca de mil millones de euros anuales en ello, pero no es suficiente. Por ejemplo, según un reciente estudio del Eurobarómetro, el 53% de los jóvenes encuestados aseguran estar dispuestos a trabajar en el extranjero, pero desafortunadamente, sólo el 14% de ellos tienen la oportunidad de estudiar o hacer prácticas fuera por falta de fondos.
Por eso, ahora estoy presionando para obtener más dinero para invertir en proyectos de movilidad. Pero también existen otras barreras que dificultan la movilidad juvenil, que son las trabas legales y administrativas.”                                                           (from EuroNews)
